游戏是以二战诺曼底登陆日D-Day为背景，游戏每一关就是D-Day中的某一时刻开始的各种任务，玩家需要扮演其中的一个士兵完成一些任务。选择NEW GAME并输入玩家名称后，就要开始D-Day的行程了。对于诺曼底登陆日不是很了解玩家也不必担心，因为GAMELOFT的游戏都会提供详细的说明，这款游戏的每一关开始都会有一个地图显示当前位置、任务名称、时间、地点名称等信息，进入游戏后还会有进一步的任务说明，因此玩家不会担心游戏开始后手足无措的情况出现。并且在第一关刚开始的一段会有详细的即时操作指南，虽然GAMELOFT的游戏做得比较精制甚至有点复杂，但绝对不会让玩家摸不着头脑。
“战火兄弟连”这个游戏的设计是很丰富细致的，游戏每一关开始前有一段动画，描述战场上的大致战斗情况，让玩家对于每一关的战场环境有一个了解。进入游戏后会有箭头提示行进的方向，以及一些事件的即时提示信息。在每张地图中还设置了若干箱子和接续点，打破箱子会获得各种武器的补充以及新的武器品种或者伤药等，碰触接续点则可以在牺牲后从该接续点继续进行游戏。另外画面中玩家的生命值、武器弹药状况、得分等各种信息也一目了然方便查看。游戏中的字体和人物脚下的方向环使用了“细胞分裂”系列游戏中使用的经典的绿色，个人感觉这个颜色很能显出游戏的科技感。
游戏的画面效果没得说，同以往GAMELOFT的其他游戏一样，这个游戏的2D画面非常的精致，地面上沙石的颗粒感、草丛、掩体、岩石的质感、枪击爆炸等效果都很到位，再一次证明的GAMELOFT的美工设计的高水平。并且游戏的运行速度很快，画面连贯性很好，游戏中人物的动作、游戏提示、箭头图标等都没有拖泥带水的感觉，玩起来很流畅、舒爽。
“战火兄弟连”这个游戏的难度不算高，只要按照游戏中的任务提示可以比较轻松地完成各个任务（但是真正的战场好象不是这样的吧？）。游戏的操作也很容易上手，比之前测评的“彩虹六号——锁定目标”玩起来要顺手得多，这应该也是感觉游戏难度低的一个重要因素吧。另外这个游戏的武器系统做的比较好，武器种类比较多，从普通的步枪、手雷到火箭筒、喷火器等，还有的地方能控制架设好的重型机关枪，游戏玩到中后期玩家甚至可以直接控制坦克来进行游戏，实在是比以往只能控制一个小人走来走去过瘾多了。
总之“战火兄弟连”这个游戏保持了GAMELOFT游戏一贯的高品质特征，画面效果精美，内容饱满，又是以战争历史事件为题材，相信广大玩家尤其是军事爱好者玩过后一定不会失望。

游戏的每一关就是一天，每关的开始有一段新闻报道，介绍这一天某个城市遭受怪物破坏的情况（也就是玩家要操纵怪物进行的破坏活动），然后玩家就要控制着这个大怪物在城市中进行破坏了，怪物可以发射出火球，通过控制射击的方向来打击各种目标，如楼房、汽车、军队派来的飞机、坦克、舰船等等，游戏采用自动移动的横版画面，预示着怪物的横行霸道，无人能够阻挡，不过在行进过程中还是要注意敌人（敌人就是人类？！）的武器射出的子弹，还有炸弹等等，如果被击中，是要丢失能量的，并且也要注意一定要把前方的楼房击毁，因为怪物不能跳跃，所以碰到没有倒塌的楼房也会丢失能量。
经过一段破坏的过程，就到达每一关的关底BOSS，第一关是日本的塔楼，后面几关则有装甲车、潜艇等，不过这些人类制造的小儿科武器是打不到强大的怪物的（小儿科武器！！！？？？）。打败关底BOSS后总结一些得分就进入下一关，也就是下一天。游戏提供了几个场景（城市）分成若干天来完成，像日本的OSAKA，英国的LONDON这样的大城市都包括在内。
游戏的画面很别致，背景画面可以体现出各个国家城市的风貌来，像日本的古代建筑，英国的高楼大厦、浓浓的雾等等，并且背景中的云给人一种很大气又很压抑的感觉，很好地衬托了灾难的气氛，在这样的背景中控制着巨大的怪物向前行进甚至令人感到很威风。游戏每一关给出了一段规定的时间，玩家要在规定时间内打倒BOSS，如果在游戏过程中击中特殊的敌人，会增加几秒的奖励时间。画面的左下方是怪物的能量槽，开始是白色，被攻击到一定程度，白色的那一块失去了，就变成一整条黄色的，也就是说怪物的能量实际上有两条。右下方能量的旁边是状态显示区域，会显示一些怪物攻击敌人后获得的奖励以及怪物本身受到攻击的情况。画面上方从左边依次是剩余的特殊武器数量（闪电攻击）、得分和剩余的时间。这部游戏就如同一部商业大片一样，画面绚丽，但是内容简单没有深度，如果单纯追求一种破坏的乐趣的话，玩家们不妨下载来试一试[/size]

详细玩法
第一种：DRAW：这种就是接龙，谁先出完手上的牌就胜利，在游戏左上角有一些牌，接不上的时候游戏自动把那张牌给你，直到能接上为止．共二十八张牌，每人五张．左上角八张。
第二种：Block：数字接龙，没有就PASS，直到手中牌全出了为胜利，因为共二十八张而每人五张，有八张没有，所以有可能所有人都接不上，那就剩余牌面点数的总和最少的赢。
第三种：All threes：数字接龙，头尾两个数加起来是三的倍数就有分。到后几张图有的是四边的，那就是四个边的数加起来为三的倍数就得分。
第四种：All fives：和All threes的玩法一样，只是得分是五的倍数。
第五种：Draw Special：和第一种一样玩法，不同的在于如果接不上并不是从左上角拿牌拿到接上为止，而是拿一张牌然后必须PASS。
第六种：Block Hungarian：每人五张牌，有一对最大的人先出，对六为最大，然后连续接龙，直到手中的牌接不上了才到下一位接．牌先出完为胜利。
第七种：fives and threes：和三和五的玩法基本一样，多了一点就是如果加起来的数刚好就三和五两个数的倍数就有双倍的分。比如加起来是十五就有三十分。
第八种：Matador:头尾相加要是七才能接，不是的话要从左上角取牌，直到可以为止。如果手中的牌的数刚好是七,就可以接任何地方。
说说怎么在游戏中加分吧，可能在初期还不怎么觉得，到后来游戏中获得的分数绝对比赢一局得到的分数多，可很多朋友似乎不清楚游戏中“3的倍数，5的倍数”是怎样计算的，其实很简单，例如：
7xxx xxx8
xxxxxx
5xxx xxx4
则7+8+5+4＝24，是3的倍数加24分，也就是说看最外面的几个数字加起来之和就行了。开始时只计算两张牌的和，如果是4张牌，就计算两个端点的牌和，如果符合条件就加分，大致情况就是这样了。

到底是GL出的游戏的画面，真的没话说。虽然和Real Football系列的场地画面有些相象，但还是可以很清晰地看见地上的码线（不明白？自己查去……）。游戏采用的是斜45°俯视视角。人物动作流畅自然，传球、踢飞等动作处理也非常成熟，实为大家之作～尤其是扑线那一刻，会很有感觉的！还有天气效果值得一提，做得非常到位，无论是大风、下雨还是下雪，很真。
音乐：4.2
难能可贵的是菜单画面和帮助画面的BGM竟然是完全不同的！菜单画面的BGM更有激情，有着很浓厚的体育感觉，而相对帮助画面的就会稍微缓和些，但还是很有生机，不禁让人也high起来！但以后就只有音效咯～
可玩性：5
当然不用说了，每场比赛都是不同的，难度我试了下Legend，晕，AI的确不低，远码得分几乎不可能。除了正规比赛外还有迷你游戏，就是罚球拉。我好像有次踢了430分……注意左上方的风向标示哦。还有，各位知道这个游戏收录了多少队伍么？72支……

其实这个很难评，因在国内橄榄球几乎是冷门运动，不懂规则也是很正常的，继而对这个游戏敬而远之也是可以想像的；但如果是懂橄榄球规则，又很想时刻体验的玩家，就不应该错过本作了。相较GL上次的那个橄榄球游戏，我更喜欢本作。视角更舒服，动作更流畅，系统也更专业！总之喜欢橄榄球的朋友应该尝试一下。其他人么，基本可以无视本作。
