进入游戏开始画面前会有一个请示，问是否开启游戏声音，这个设定是GAMELOFT一个很经典的人性化设计，可以避免在某些安静的场合打扰周围的人。游戏的开始画面我个人感觉有点粗糙，不象同出自GAMELOFT的其他产品如《细胞分裂》系列那样动态，是个小小的遗憾。不过在PRESS ANY KEY之后出现的主菜单还是很气派的，很有一番战场风味。
这个游戏没有提供训练模式，选择开始新游戏后直接进入第一个任务，但是刚开始时每个动作的操作都会文字提示（英文），游戏的操作还是比较容易上手的。另外游戏中每个任务前都有象是电视新闻一样的一段事件介绍，而新闻的女主持人是一张熟悉的面孔，她正是出现在原先测评过的，同是出自GAMELOFT的大作《世界大战》中的那个女主持。这段介绍设计得惟妙惟肖，为游戏增加了真实感。进入任务之后，还会有众多的开场和过场动画之类的画面，就象小电影一样，玩家如不想观看可以按5键跳过。在游戏过程中，每当发生一件重要的事情都会有特别的提示，比如到达CHECKPOINT、获得武器、解救了人质等。说到这里，再回顾一下过去测评过的一些GAMELOFT出品的游戏，这些游戏都有一个共同点就是游戏的细处做的十分到位，像这些开场和过场动画、游戏中的动态提示等，正是这些地方使得一个普通的游戏变得如此精致耐玩。
关于《彩虹六号》系列，游戏内容无须多介绍，反恐吗，无非就是解救人质、解除炸弹之类的事情，这些行动还是交给玩家们自己体验。同以往GAMELOFT的其他游戏一样，这个游戏的2D画面非常的精致，地面上沙石的颗粒感、墙壁的质感、灯光阴影等都很到位，得力于GAMELOFT强大的美工设计。并且游戏的运行速度很快，画面连贯性很好，游戏中人物的动作、游戏提示、箭头图标等都没有拖泥带水的感觉，玩起来很流畅、舒爽，看来GAMELOFT在程序设计上也着实下了一番功夫。
这个游戏难度尚可，不算容易，主要是有些战斗的地方对操作的要求比较高。由于游戏使用的是键盘模仿鼠标式的操作方式，先用键盘控制屏幕上一个图标的位置再来确定队伍的走向，因此在情况紧急的时候可能会手忙脚乱。不过在经过一段时间的熟悉后应该会比较得心应手，毕竟这种操作是这个游戏的一大特点，玩家如果适应了会得到很多乐趣的。
单单凭着GAMELOFT和RAINBOW SIX这两个个如雷贯耳的名字，各位玩家也应该能感觉到这是个不能错过的游戏。是的RAINBOW SIX LOCKDOWN不会让你失望的，你会在后面的任务中找到更多的惊喜和乐趣

序章
真不知道联邦政府是怎么想的，让我的下属马宏去追捕从FOXriver越狱的斯柯菲尔德和林肯两兄弟！而我却被远调到了千里之外的纽约！原本这个CASE一直是我负责的啊！真是倒霉透了。
哦~光顾着抱怨忘记了自我介绍：我叫lydyy……lydyy grey！
说实话我是第一次来到纽约这个鬼地方，感觉…糟透了…这个号称全美国最为繁荣也是最为肮脏的城市没有任何一处吸引我，它的阳光，沙滩和财富对我来说都一钱不值。除此之外还有一点让我十分恼火，就是我从一位FBI降职成一名普通的纽约重案组探员（NYPD）天知道我着了什么道。
才刚下飞机我就接到了新上司cobeant的电话，他们半小时前在一家酒店里发现了一具二十岁左右的年轻女尸，现在正在现场取证，叫我快点赶过去。我叹了口气，难道我是柯南吗？走到哪里哪里就有命案发生……本来以为可以休息一两天才去报道的。算了这是命，另外也该去见一见我的新同事了。我随手拦下了一辆的士，放好行李：sir xhotel hurryup!
第一集 收集证据
当我到达酒店的时候门口已经被多事的记者们围了个水泄不通。当然他们是不会认识我的，所以我能像旅客一般从人群中挤进电梯，而不是被他们围着问那些无聊的问题。一出电梯口就有警察拦住我：对不起先生，这层楼已经被封锁。我没有回答只是把自己的证件在了他们眼前晃了一下，挡路的警察马上不好意思的说道：对不起，长官。由于心情恶劣的发狂，我懒得搭理他们径直来到了案发现场。
我的新上司cobeant一眼就认出了我：lydyy，你来了。我看过你的资料了你以前是一位相当不错的FBI探员，希望来到我们这里能更好的发挥你的才能。我尖酸的回应道：希望如此。cobeant也许没有听出我话里的不满继续述说案情：一个小时之前有个人打电话给我们说他在这家酒店发现了一具女尸，我们立刻就赶来了，现场很凌乱显然有过打斗痕迹……
长官，能先让我看下现场吗？我打断他的话。可以…可以…瞧，我一说就停不了了，对了有一个人要介绍给你认识。joey moore~joey!出来一下。是的长官～～我随着声音转过头去一位英俊的年轻人向这边跑来。看见我他显得十分兴奋：我认识你～之前你在追捕FOXriver的逃犯！很高兴能与你一同办案，从今天开始我们就是拍挡了。拜托，不要提到我的痛处！我礼节性的和他握了下手说道，那是以前的事了，现在我只是一名重案组探员，言归正传我们该去看现场了。
在joey的带领下我来到了案发现场，一具女尸赤身裸体的躺在床上，虽然死亡时间不长但由于炎热的天气，尸体散发出阵阵恶臭。四周十分凌乱，散落的衣物和物件片地皆是，估计死者生前一定和凶手发生过搏斗……正当我在推理的时候joey打断我的思路。头，经过我们初步勘察尸体在被发现之前没有移动过，如果我们仔细收索应该能发现一些蛛丝马迹。我白了他一眼，你知道就好。cobeant长官拍了拍我的肩膀说到：我现在要回警局去盘问这家酒店的经理lov rirera，你们就留在这里继续调查，要是有什么线索就与我联系，死人虽然不能开口，但是证据却决不会说谎！祝你们好运。对了还有～都走到门口了cobeant长官转过头对我说，lydyy静下心来，你会很有成就的。我不好意思的点了下头，看来我小看我的这位黑人长官了。
从死者的外衣里的身份证我们知道了她的一些基本信息：死者名叫victim，20岁。但只有这么一点被害者信息是不能破案的，所以我用棉签在死者额头的伤口上取了点血液，以用来化验。在翻动尸体的时候我发现她的左肩伤口上似乎有一块物体，用镊子夹起来一看原来是一个玻璃碎片。看来这具尸体有进行全面尸检的必要！joey，警局有验尸房吗？没有，头。不过隔街的联邦调查局有。那好！告诉我地址我要把尸体带到那里去解剖！你继续留在这里调查！现在吗，头？我点了下头：那是当然！
尸体送去解剖后二十分钟，我来到解剖室询问医师结果：嗨～我是NYPD的lydyy探员，请问我们刚才送来的女尸解剖结果出来了吗？医师皱了下眉头：探长你最好进来看看，哦～我先自我介绍下我是这里的主管叫我CF就好了，根据我们推断死者的死亡时间应该是昨天晚上11点到今天早上12点之间。时间推断出来了，我们离真相进了一步了。
来到解剖室内，CF指尸体的脖子说：死者的死亡原因应该是脖子上的这个伤口。顺着CF所指的方向我仔细的观察了一下这个伤口，确实很深，其实这个女孩很漂亮，但是凶手却毫不留情的在她脸上划了数个刀口可见他的凶狠！CF能判断出是什么凶器造成的吗？我问医师。CF思考一下缓缓的说，根据伤口创面的不规则形状来看，凶器应该是十分锋利且是锯齿状的物体。呼～我叹了口气，看来要找到凶器也是我们一个关键任务。还有其他的情报吗？
我继续问，CF指了下尸体的右下颚：我用X光检查过，发现受害人身体受过猛烈的攻击，特别是下颚已经被打碎了，而且嘴唇上有一些奇怪的光纤组织。还有你看被害者的左脚，有许多不规则的伤口，我们用卷尺在她的指甲上取得了一些粉末。以上的这些我都做了详细的资料，你看还有什么需要的尽管告诉我。我仔细的想了一下：医师，我还需要死者的指纹！对了，忘记一件重要的事情，我要取一些被害人的头发，好做DNA测试。CF惊讶的望着我感叹到，真是一个了不起的家伙。我苦笑一下，职业病而已，资料我已经收集的差不多，我要回警局整理一下好进行下一步调查。CF摆了一个胜利的手势：加油，要是我有什么新发现我会打电话给你的！谢谢，CF！我拿上资料匆忙离去……
第二集 深入
在赶回警局的路上我的手机响了起来，是一个陌生的号码？犹豫了一下我接了起来：喂，请问你找谁？头！是我啦！电话里传来joey焦急的声音。你怎么知道我的电话号码？对于一位NYPD的见习探员来说获取一个人的电话号码应该不是什么难事吧！是啊，我几乎都忘记他的身份了：你有这个闲功夫还不如在调查上多用下心，对了你那边有什么新的进展吗？报告，有，就等头过来确认！不过刚才cobeant长官叫我转告你，马上回警局报告他有事找你。我正在回去的路上，办完事以后就去你那里，仔细调查每一处！收到！挂掉电话我暗笑，真是个充满激情的家伙！
来到cobeant长官的办公室，他正在看案件报告。我轻敲了下门：长官叫我回来有什么事情吗？cobeant长官抬起了头：是的，今天的谋杀案就正式交给你处理，但是你要告诉我最新的进展。不要让我失望哦！谢谢，长官！如果没有其他事情？我要回现场去了。cobeant长官笑了笑：年轻人真是急性子，我叫你回来不光是告诉你接管这件案子，还有个重要任务交给你，就是审问那家酒店的老板，也是发现现场的第一证人lov。他现在在审讯室，来，我带你去。
在审讯室外面，cobeant长官悄悄的告诉我，在lov不知道的情况下我们在他身上安装了测谎仪，如果他说慌他背后的屏幕会显示红色波纹，你要好好把握时机，抓住他说话的漏洞迫使他说出真相！我笑了起来：原以为只有FBI才玩这手原来NYPD也一样啊。
进入审讯室，lov就坐在里面，看他的样子显得有点紧张。我嘲笑般的问到：冷吗？为什么身子绷的那么紧？
lov忙辩解到：确实有点…冷……
我看见他身后的屏幕显出鲜红的波纹，看来这个测谎仪确实有用，我接着问：是吗？明明今天冷气没有开啊！lov沉默不语。
我轻轻咳了一下：好，现在我们开始吧，听说你是第一个发现尸体的人？能告诉我们当时的情况吗？
lov缓缓的说道：是的，我上班的时候听到死者那间房有异样的声音，我走过去敲门看她是否需要帮助。如果没有记错那时应该是中午12点50左右，我连敲了两次门都没有反应，然后就用钥匙打开了门，一进门发现被害着死在了床上，接着我就报了警。
在lov述说的同时我也盯着后面的屏幕，可惜的是并没有什么异样。lov能告诉我昨晚11点到今早12点你的行踪吗？我继续审问。
当然警官，你说的那段时间我一直和朋友们在酒吧喝酒，今早才来上班的。这是个很好的不在场理由啊，你能证明一下吗？
ov想了一下：除了我满身的酒气，还有保安处的录象可以给我做证。

lov马上紧张起来：探长！你说这话什么意思？对于案情该说我都说了！
我挥挥手：不要激动，我可不是说关于案情的事，是关于你的个人情况！
此话一出lov的脸色都变了：我不知道你在说什么，长官！
看见他身后的红光闪个不停我就忍不住偷笑：我可看过你的个人档案了……
听了这句话lov就像一只泄了气的皮球瘫坐在坐位上：好了长官不要在戏弄我了，我承认我有犯罪前科，刚才我没有说的原因是由于我不想这个污点防碍你们对于案件的判断！我发誓，我早已经改过自新了！
我走到lov身边拍了拍他的肩膀：我相信你，基本上你是个诚实的人，这次询问到此结束，有什么问题我会通知你的。
出了审讯室cobeant长官迫不及待的问我有什么进展，lov基本上洗脱了嫌疑，但是我们又有了新的目标那就是leonard stensham，但在寻找他之前我想先到检验室去看下我刚才送去的证物上有什么线索。cobeant长官赞许的点点头：好吧，年轻人，放开手去干吧。
来到检验室，一位美丽的女警正在里面忙碌的工作着：打扰一下，女士，我叫lydyy是新来的探员，刚才我送来的证物检验完毕了吗？女警转过身来：你好，我叫emily white，这里由我负责，你所说的证物应该是今早酒店凶案里的那些吧？我朝她放电一笑：是的，美女。那知道EW并不领情转到实验台前说：根据死者的头发和血液我已经做好好DNA样本。看来是个冷美人啊：那些证物，有什么发现吗？美女拿起一份报告给我读了起来：在死者肩膀伤口上发现的玻璃碎片应该是某个玻璃制品破坏而来的。死者嘴边的纤维组织，是一种普通衣料。还有脚上的粉状物体应该是花粉。报告完毕！美女，你念慢一点嘛，我都没有记牢。我调侃到。
EW瞟了我一眼，把报告摔在我手里：这里都写的很清楚自己看，我还有其他的事情要忙呢！说罢就走人了。晕~~被糗了！
我拿着报告细细的看了一遍，发现了我们已经掌握了一些很重要的线索！是时候给cobeant长官写第一份报告了，于是我打开笔记本电脑写到：
死者死亡时间确认为昨晚11点到今天早上12点之间。
致命伤在脖子上且死前受过猛烈打击，估计是罪犯所致。
第一目击者lov没有移动过现场，且凭借录象摆脱嫌疑。
根据lov的证词我们将下一个目标锁定在一位名叫leonard stensham的年轻人身上，理由是他曾和死者多次出入酒店，且像她男友！
我们已经获取了死者身上的第三者衣物纤维，和花粉，相信这两样东西会对破案有很大帮助。

游戏共分为8个关卡，在不同的关卡中你将执行不同的任务，游戏中采用自动存储的方式，即当你在一个关卡中过了一定的流程，就会出现try again字样当你死亡后你将在最近的记录点复活，重新投入带战斗中去。先让我们熟悉下游戏的界面，游戏下面就是显示你的hp，游戏中意料箱多的是,如果不犯大的错误,可以说一次通关了.然后下一行是慢动作大绝气槽，满了就可以释放慢动作(我怎么觉得像黑侠帝国),John McClane还会扛着一支厉害火炮(我对军火不熟悉,不知道怎么写,见谅),最后的就是右下角的武器了,可以按*号随意切换,武器一共有三种.
游戏中敌人的武器更是多元化,手枪,硫炮,强烈电流,追踪自暴机器蜘蛛等.游戏在每个关卡结束后会根据你的表现打分。
游戏中还融入了警车追逐战(第四和第七关),解除高强电流(我总觉得像在拆除核弹),镜片引爆等三个小游戏,警车那个我特喜欢,飘移不错的说~~`
第八关就是boss战了，开始还以为boss和其他敌人没啥分别，就是血多了点.呵呵,结果我死得很惨.boss开始会用硫炮打你,中了会很痛,切莫硬碰，还很容易死亡.那到底这么玩呢?呵呵,还记得开始拿的燃烧弹吗?刚见到boss时就立刻送他一个吧,然后爬到地上又是一个,最后在爬回楼上还是一个,boss在一声巨大响声后倒下……20秒都不用,简单吧.不过总的来说难度不是很大，boss的近身还是很厉害的.当通关后会出现新的难度模式hard还未尝试。
优点： 优秀的图像表现，流畅的操作，圆滑的人物润色,震撼的动作音效
缺点： 难度较低，除了最后boss要花点心思,通关的时间较短，让高级玩家感到不过瘾
